My name is Irene Gage, I am 56 years old and I was a sufferer of M.E. for over 14 years. During that time I portrayed most of the classic symptoms of this dreadful disease. With little or no help from GPs in the UK, other than to pump me full of a varied selection of pills and tablets, I turned to alternative help, having used reflexology in the UK which gave some relief for a time. I was open to potentially any cure as long as it worked.

If you can imagine, my life in the UK was mainly bed and being house bound. If I was lucky I was able to go to the Supermarket for a few hours with my Mother-in-Law or my Husband but later I had to pay a heavy price for those few hours and I was back in bed again for days. I was simply too weak to get out of bed most days and often I was unable to even attend to my daily toilet needs unless my husband was around to assist me. This meant that I would not be able to even brush my teeth or bathe for days as I was absolutely reliant on others for help and care. I think you will agree that I felt that life was just passing me by. So we emigrated to Tenerife.

We then heard of a wonderful man who could offer me hope for this awful illness and my husband Nigel and I jumped at the chance.

After investigating the programme we were satisfied as to the authenticity of the man and decided we had little to lose and everything to gain.

After a 4 ½ hour session with Michael and a short lecture afterwards on the do's and don'ts, I returned to our apartment and waited. Lo and behold, after 3 days I felt that I had received a boost, a jump start if you will and had been infused with a massive amount of energy and incredibly a new zest for life, a feeling I had not experienced in over 14 years. Soon I was able to walk normally and after a few more days could undertake a shopping trip to a supermarket about 1 mile away and return back up a hill to where we lived, without too much effort.

This eventually meant that Iwas to take my grandson for a walk along the promenade beside the sea, something I had been dreaming of since he came into our lives 5 years earlier.

AT LONG LAST I WOULD BE ABLE TO RECOVER MY LOST YEARS.

And this was all thanks to a highly trained and gifted individual in Tenerife named Michael (a miracle man really).

It was after this incident that both myself and my husband decided to devote ourselves to M.E. sufferers, to Michael as co-ordinators for his appointments, and so spread the word about his work.
